Capacity and Season

The Blessing Barn will be available April 15- November 15th. Off season dates are available, but will need to be coordinated with one of the blessing barn administrators. 

There will be 3 set ups to choose from based on the number of guests. The barn will be automatically set up based on your choice of Petit, Modest & Grand with a maximum capacity of 230 guests. You must notify a Blessing Barn administrator at least 48 hours in advance with which set-up you would like. 

  • Petit is less than 50 guests 

  • Modest is 50-124 guests

  • Grand is 125-230 guests


Services Provided by Owner

No surrounding buildings/residential private property are included in the rental:

  • Kitchen available to keep food WARM and store supplies for caterers, not for preparing food for event. Caterers must bring own equipment and own serving supplies. Full scale cooking is not permitted. 

  • Attached bridal suite and separate groom suite will be available to the bridal party for dressing, changing, etc… This area is not open to wedding party guests. 

  • Designated parking will be marked  including handicapped parking. 

  • Handicapped accessible restroom.

  • Chairs and tables are provided. Any covers for tables or chairs would be at the responsibility of the renter.

  • Use of the enclosed porch.

  • You may set up tents (at the expense of the renter/not provided). The tent site must be approved prior to the delivery of the tent.

  • Use of the grounds for wedding ceremonies and receptions. Ceremony sites other than the designated area will need to be approved 30 days before.

  • A staff representative on duty the day of the event to assist.

  • A Blessing Barn representative will be present the day of the rehearsal dinner to go over details of the event.


Terms and Conditions

  1. The facility should be left in the SAME condition it was received. Additional Charges will be assigned per the owner of the facilities if any terms of the contract are not met.

  2. One of the Blessing Barn administrators must be notified 30 days before the scheduled date for cancellations to avoid additional fees. 

    • The deposit will NOT be refunded, but will be used towards a rescheduled event. Rescheduled events will be planned/booked based on availability. 

  3. The Blessing Barn administration will be happy to provide a preferred list of venders that have been reliable and performed well in the past. You may hire professionals not on the list. The owner has the right to approve/deny all venders. Venders who have not met our standards and who have not followed these regulations may not be approved and denied access to the facilities.

  4. The renter will be liable for any damages to the premises and property that is caused by the renter, the guests, or by persons or companies hired by the renter. Renters and their venders must leave the property in clean, tidy and in good condition with all garbage, bottles, decorations, etc. removed at the conclusion of the event. They must comply with all provisions and limitations specified in the rental contract. If they do not comply, all or a portion of the security deposit will be withheld.

  5. Deliveries and the coordination of venders (i.e. photographers, caterers, videographers, etc... ) are the responsibility of the renters. No one is permitted in the barn before approved times as listed in the contact. 

  6. The Blessing Barn takes no responsibility for items left before or after the event.

  7. The Blessing Barn is not responsible for any persons and/or guest items damaged on the day of the event.

  8. All goods, tents, rental equipment, etc. must be removed from the premises immediately after the event before the end of the rental time or an additional $100 per hour will be charged.

  9. In the event that the owners feel that there is or will be any violation of the contract or state/town regulations, they have the right to cancel the event for cause at any time. 

  10. The Blessing Barn reserves the right of approval for the use of the premises, and if they should decide to cancel an event, they will make every effort to notify the renter in a timely fashion and will refund the deposit in full.

  11. The owner reserves the right to veto some activities that may be too dangerous, that may be damaging to the buildings or grounds, or that may disturb property owners.

  12. Before the conclusion of the event, the renter is responsible for completing the check-out packet and signing out with the Blessing Barn administrator or Site Manager on duty.  


Other Requirements and Special Concerns

  1. A $500 security deposit must be paid BEFORE the event takes place, day of. After checking out at the end of the event with the Blessing Barn administrator or Site Supervisor on duty, the security deposit will be refunded as long as guidelines have been met from the contract and the checkout.

  2. The renting party and all invited guests shall follow all requests of the Blessing Barn administrator and/or the Site Supervisor on duty and abide by all applicable laws and regulations.

  3. Alcohol restrictions:

    • Open bars (i.e. hard liquor or made to order cocktails) must be served by a licensed and insured vendor.

    • Self serve alcohol such as beer, wine, wine coolers do not need to be served by a bartender. However, we request that all party members drink responsibly and respect the facility, property, and law. 

    • All alcohol containers (bottles, cans, bottle caps, etc…) must be disposed of properly. 

    • The Blessing Barn is not responsible for monitoring the service of alcohol or checking IDs.

      1. Any injury or accidents that occur due to the consumption of alcohol is not the responsibility of The Blessing Barn. 

      2. The Blessing Barn does not approve of underage drinking. If minor guests are found to be consuming alcohol, the offenders will be asked to leave and/or legal action will be taken. 

  4. The following are not permitted:

    • Nails, tacks or staples used in the Barn or anywhere on the grounds or structures.

    • Alteration of the grounds, Barn, gardens or other parts of the premises (no picking of flowers etc.)

    • No open flame decorations are permitted. Battery operated candles are acceptable. 

    • No straw is permitted inside or outside (i.e. decorations, fire place, bales, etc…).

    • Confetti 

  5. Smoking and/or drugs are NOT permitted anywhere on the property. A portion of the Security Deposit will be withheld if The Blessing Barn staff has to clean up cigarette butts or drug paraphernalia following an event.
